Jakub Jílek, MSc
English-speaking Life Coach & Psychotherapist in the Czech Republic • Online Worldwide
"Helping clients rediscover joy and achieve real, lasting change is why I do what I do."
I’m a Solution‑Focused life coach & psychotherapist (MSc, UCL) supporting expats in the Czech Republic and English-speaking teens (14+) and adults all around the world in overcoming anxiety, building resilience, and creating meaningful, lasting change.
My academic journey began with a BSc in Economics at the University of Essex, followed by an MSc in Cognitive & Decision Sciences at University College London. This multidisciplinary training—spanning psychology, neuroscience, philosophy and data science—gives me a unique lens for crafting practical, evidence‑based strategies tailored to each client.
With over 4,200 hours of direct client work since 2018, I blend solution‑focused methods, Cognitive Science expertise, and diverse therapeutic models into every session.
As a lead trainer in EEG Neurofeedback and co‑founder of Synaptica Learning, I’m also passionate about training the next generation of Neurofeedback practitioners.
In addition to my clinical practice, I’ve co‑authored science‑backed guides on memory and self‑control, tutor English privately, and lead workshops on self‑development.
Away from my practice, I’m married and love exploring new places with my wife. I love running, going to the gym, learning piano pieces (in theory—my time is limited!), or diving into all kinds of music.
